Saturday was a very busy and eventful day. It started off early with Mateo's baseball game. If you don't remember he plays for the Giants; they played the Yankees. It was a great game! Mateo had two
amazing hits and 2 rbi's. If you ask me, I say one of those hits almost went over the fence! He was made MVP of the game by his coaches and team mates.
To add to the excitement of the day, we headed off to San Francisco to enjoy a Major League Giants baseball game. We usually try to go once a year. This time was probably one of
the best games we've been to because Mateo's school band got to play the National Anthem
on the field. (that's Barry Zito in corner)

It was so cool to see our son on the field. I mean how many kids/people get the opportunity to be on a
Major League Field! Here he is with trumpet in hand talking to his friend right after they played.

We then enjoyed watching the Giants beat the Cardinals. If you've never seen the view from the Giants stadium, it's GORGEOUS!

It was well worth the wait.
The wait! We had made these plans to head out early to try and get on the field for batting practice. We've (kids) really wanted to try and get some signatures from the ball players. Well when we get there,
three hours early, we find a line 5-6 blocks long,
at each gate!
It was a promotional night, bobblehead night. I couldn't believe how many people stood in line for bobble heads.

Well if you can't beat 'em, join 'em!

All in all it was an amazing and exhausting day!
